Jason first swung a club at age five and was instantly hooked. By high school, he stood out on the golf team, winning district and regional championships. He also played golf through college, serving as team captain in his junior and senior years.
After graduation, Jason decided to make golf his career. He became a golf pro at a local country club, teaching lessons and organizing tournaments. But the travel bug soon bit, and Jason set out to play courses across the globe. He has played on six continents and over 500 routes from Scotland to Hawaii to South Africa.
Through it all, Jason’s love for the game has only grown. He enjoys playing golf and studying its history, equipment, courses, and players. He pours this passion into his writing, providing readers with a wealth of golf knowledge. His blog, Golf Article, has become a must-read for avid golfers.
When he’s not golfing, Jason enjoys spending time with his wife, Emily, and his daughter, Taylor. He’s thrilled to share his passion for golf with his family – Emily plays in club tournaments, while 8-year-old Taylor is a natural, beating dad on the course last summer.
